„INTEGRATION WITHOUT BORDERS” – group two

At the beginning of March, 12 participants began participating in our project „Integration
without borders”, the aim of which is to support the professional and social activation of third-
country nationals. We have several intensive months filled with learning, workshops and
individual support behind us.
On 11–15 March, individual meetings of the second group were held as part of the task
„Diagnosis of individual needs and potentials of the UP in order to prepare and implement
support”, thanks to which it was possible to adapt further activities to the capabilities and
expectations of each participant.
The next stage was a Polish language course and interpreter support, which lasted from 17
March to 8 April. Participants actively developed their communication skills in Polish, such as
speaking and writing, which significantly influenced their efficient functioning in everyday life.
After completing the course, each participant received a certificate.

Then, for the second group, Social and Civic Competence Workshops were conducted on
9–14 April, during which participants practiced, among others, assertiveness, teamwork and
effective communication.
From April 10 to May 7, the group held meetings as part of Counseling
(psychological/legal/career), which allowed participants to obtain information and support
regarding their rights and regulations relevant to life and work in Poland.
From May 8 to May 21, participants took part in the professional training „Office worker with
accounting elements”, after completing it, they received a certificate confirming the acquired
qualifications. This was an important step on the path to professional activation.
Immediately after the training, on May 22–26, job placement took place, during which
participants, with the help of the trainer, searched for job offers and prepared for recruitment
interviews.
The activities carried out allowed participants to gain new skills, increase self-confidence and
better prepare for entering (or returning to) the labor market.
