Integration Without Borders – group four
On July 17th, group four began their initial support program under the project with an individual assessment of needs and potential. Each participant had two meetings with a career counselor. The next stage involved participation in a Polish language course and interpreter support. During 20 meetings, project participants familiarized themselves with the Polish language and writing in Polish. They learned the essential basics for better communication in everyday life. The next group session – Social and Civic Competence Workshops for group four – was held from August 20th to August 25th. During the workshops, participants practiced effective communication and learned about the principles of the Polish labor market and customs prevailing in Poland. The fourth project task was Counseling
(psychological/legal/career). Participants could seek advice on challenging matters during individual meetings with a lawyer. Participants then began vocational training on the topic of "Supplier Worker" with elements of office work. The training lasted 12 days, during which they learned the specifics of the job position and acquired basic knowledge in this area, confirmed by a certificate. The final task completed by group four was Employment Intermediation. Two individual meetings were scheduled for this task. During these meetings, the employment intermediary, in collaboration with the participant, searched for job offers tailored to the participant’s abilities and needs.
The entire group four successfully completed all project tasks and undertook further self-development activities. Congratulations!
Meanwhile, the final group five has already begun participating in the project and is actively pursuing further tasks! We’re keeping our fingers crossed for them.
